Connecticut's legislature has approved-and now Governor Jodi Rell has signed-a bill that legalizes homosexual "marriage" in that state .S.B 899 passed only after approval of an amendment giving religious organizations an exemption to the law-specifically, that they are not required to pvodie services, goods, or facilities for same-sex "wedding" ceremonies.

Mexico's deadly swine flu could disrupt trade and travel between the United States and Mexico if it prompts restrictions on the movement of goods across the border or sparks fear in consumers, analysts say.
