The wild weather that started sweeping through the Blue Weather Area is beginning to calm. Emergency crews throughout St. Clair County are one the scene of downed trees and wires. Small fires have started as a result in some places.

The Bureau of Meteorology has warned Victorians to expect extreme weather conditions today while South Australia braces for further destructive winds.
