The pets of the week are a male black husky in cage D22 and a male tabby in cage C27. The Animal Care and Adoption Center of Texarkana, Ark., has 72 dogs, nine puppies and 26 cats for adoption, said a shelter official. There were 13 adoptions in the past week and 28 animals were euthanized.
